ASBS MBA Global Management Program is an attempt to make participants stand out in the crowded MBA market. Under this program all participants are given an additional ‘Post Graduate Domain Certificate’ in addition to the conventional 2 years AICTE approved MBA certification (AICTE – Ministry of HRD approved PGDM). In other words AGMP= ASBS PGDM + PGP-Respective Domain).
This program has remarkable innovations as compared to most of the management programs in the country which helps students build themselves in different aspects of Management. Some of them are :
Outdoor Project Work (OPW) -
As part of the Outdoor Project Work, students have to analyze the SME business operation by visiting their premises & interviewing owners, senior managers and employees. While the students are given an open mandate on the information they can collect, the result is often a detailed analysis of the business and its sector, which is then cross-examined by the visiting faculty. In the process, students learn to defend their findings and overcome difficulties to collect information for their reports.
Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) -
NLP is a science of excellence which brings together a vast set of tools and techniques proven to rapidly and positively change self, family, relationships, and businesses. It is designed to enable the participants to not only understand and practice these skills in their academic, professional and work situations but also for personal growth, development, and achievements.
Non-Government Organisation (NGO) -
Under the NGO project, students get an opportunity to observe the functioning and management of the non-profit sector. The main objective includes building compassion for the vulnerable and marginalized sections of the society, creating awareness about the role played by NGOs in pursuing remedial actions towards social problems.
Pragmatic Leadership Development Program (PLDP) -
The objective of PLDP is to instil certain features in the potential managers of a management class. These characteristics include abilities to operate under pressure, perform with resource constraints, perform in teams or as a one-man team, learn analytics, case writing, pragmatic sales, sales closure, communication, team spirit and so on.
PGDM - AICTE Approved -
PGDM is a conventional Postgraduate Program offered by the partnering institution. All the features/innovations applicable to the aforesaid program are also included in this program.
